Good Day, Misters Bell & Kines
Way back in the '70s Chuck Connaghan struck a good note with the public on the matter of labour Tripartism : public / government / labour. At that time, I was the BC Liberal Party Policy Chairman; and, labour policy adviser to Gordon Gibson; whose asst. was Colin Hansen. Also, I was the internal counsel for Teamster Trials in BC at Local 213 / I was IBT Pres Fiztsimmons & Sen Lawson's nemesis (I co-ordinated matters with CLUE & US Dept of Labor).
The public is entitled to better "negotiations in good faith".
Regards, Ralph Goodwin

Dear Mister Leyne
We both have teachers in our families. And, we have both been in or observing the political labour internecine battles for decades. As a Royal state nation, we are duty bound to protect the integrity of the Crown. The test here, is to examine the actual duties of the Gov Gen and the Lt Govs prior to Elizabeth IIs death - which ends the dominion of the monarchy in Canada. The next battle will be whether or not Charles will be accepted as the new monarch. In BC, as you have well noted in your article today, there is the question of integrity of the legislature / i.e., government-of-the-day. Governance and corruption have always been tied to the same buggy. When public interest is involved (government and a public service BCTF ) and a clear court decision stands until appealed; then, it appears to be within the fiduciary duty of the Crown to take hold of the reins during accountability stretches / appeals. Christy Clark's government - like Gordon Campbell @ HEU appears to be union-busting  @ the BCTF. Connaghan's Tripartism and Hohfeld's principles would seem to deemi it to be in the public interest for the BCTF / BCPSEA negotiations to be a fully public event / media included
Regards, Ralph Goodwin
